1 recipe Brown Butter Crust
Zest and juice of 2 lemons
4 tbsp heavy cream
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/2 cup butter, melted
8 tbsp limoncello liqueur
6 plums or plucots, stoned and cut into wedges
1 cup granulated sugar
- Prepare the brown butter crust.
- Place the lemon zest and juice, cream, almonds, sugar, eggs and melted butter in a large bowl and whisk until smooth then stir in the limoncello.
- Arrange the sliced plums in the bottom of the tart shell, then pour the Limoncello custard mixture over. Bake for about 20-30 mins until the custard is just set. Allow to cool then sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
