Join Keli at The Cove in Normandy Park for a series of wine pairing classes featuring recipes from her cookbook with and wines selected by Marilee Bramhall of iola wines.

 

Take a virtual vacation for the evening as you learn basic food and wine pairing methods, discover some unique French and Italian wines, sample some delicious food, and have a fantastic time gathering with friends!

A French Picnic

It is a wonderful time of year to celebrate picnic fare, and no one does it better than the French! The menu will include Camembert, two styles of Pâté with fresh baguette slices, Bleu Cheese and Gruyère Gougère Tapenade, Truffled Mushroom Galette, and Lemon Tart with Berries. Keli will describe cooking methods and Marilee will select a wine pairing for each dish. You will sip and nibble as you learn about the importance of terroir and discover some unique French wines.

An Evening in Central Italy

The Italian regions of Tuscany and Umbria are famous for their food and wine and this evening will celebrate both! The menu will include Pecorino and Figs with Olive Oil Crackers, Bresaola and Arugula, Torta al Testo, Fresh Pici with Wild Boar Ragù, and Apricot Jam Tart. Keli will describe cookin methods and Marilee will select a wine pairing for each dish. You will be inspired to start planning your next vacation!

Summer in Sicily

Many cultures have influenced the cuisine and wines of Sicily and its unique history is reflected in this menu. Tastings will include Caponata, Chickpea Fries with Sundried Tomato Aioli, Octopus Salad, Pasta alla Norma, and Keli's famous Blueberry Limoncello Cassata Cake. Keli will describe cooking methods and Marilee will select a wine pairing for each dish. You will enjoy fresh, simple food and discover the great value of Sicilian wines.
