A Slippery Slide Through A Muddy Chicken Coop

slippery slide through a muddy chicken coopYou gotta love the name of this holiday cocktail!

Ingredients:
1 oz. Irish Cream (Bailey’s)
1 oz. Kahlua
1 oz. Vodka
1 glass Eggnog
Chocolate Curls from the Red Tea Room

 

Mixing Instructions:

Swirl Irish Cream, Kahlua and vodka gently in a cocktail shaker with ice to chill. Strain into glass. Swiftly fill glass with cold Eggnog to mix. Garnish with Chocolate Curls from the Red Tea Room. Serve with a smirk.

Serve it up in a 16 oz. Picardie glass

Caffe Umbria Espresso Martini

Espresso MartiniIngredients:

2 cups freshly brewed Caffe Umbria Gusto Crema blend espresso, chilled
2 cups orange-flavored vodka (recommended: Pinnacle Orange)
1 cup coffee liqueur (recommended: Kahlua)
8 slices orange peel, twisted
Sugar for rim, optional

Mixing Instructions:
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the Caffe Umbria espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur. Shake for 30 seconds, or until foamy. Strain into a chilled martini glass (rub orange slice around rim and dip in granulated sugar if desired) and decorate with the orange peel. Serve at once.

“Blatschindas” Pumpkin Pasties ~ Good enough for Hogwart’s!

Pumpkin PastiesBlatschindas are pastries are filled with a spiced pumpkin mixture and baked. The warm turnovers are drizzled with Mieli Thun Dandelion Honey sprinkled with nutmeg to serve. Plan ahead to chill the dough at least 1 hour. You may make these in advance of baking and freeze up to 2 months.
