The Pleasures and Treasures of Umbria and Tuscany is designed to give you an in-depth experience of all the best of these delightful regions. It’s a civilized tour with plenty of free time and at a leisurely pace.

The tour begins in Pisa, and then we’ll whisk you off to a beautiful villa in Umbria for 6 nights.

Then it’s off to a lovely boutique hotel in Florence for 4 nights.

You will experience the delights of Umbria including a spa day, winery tour, and day trips to Orvieto and Assisi.

You will explore Tuscan art, history, cuisine, and culture in medieval Siena and San Gimignano, tiny Monteriggione  all from our base in Florence, the jewel of the Renaissance.

And, you’ll understand what you’re seeing thanks to our evening talks when Paula will provide fascinating background information and prepare you for the next day’s adventures. Of course, she will always be right there with you to answer questions and point out treasures.

Also for this tour, you will have a second guide, Toni De Bella, who has lived in Orvieto and is a lover of all things Umbrian.

We arDesserts2e pleased to announce that the tour includes a hands-on cooking class with internationally renowned chef, Velia De Angelis. You’ll learn to prepare traditional Umbrian specialties in this fun class, suitable for all levels of cooks. Then, you’ll enjoy the fruits of your labors with local wines.

You will also savor the tastes of regional specialties and wines in the authentic restaurants and trattorias we’ve carefully chosen.
