We had a delightful visit today from Cheryl who had traveled to Seattle from Houston to attend a family graduation. She and her family were dining at Volterra Restaurant in Ballard (one of our favorites restaurants!) and she admired the Raffaellesco salt and pepper dishes that they purchase from Poggi Bonsi for their tables. The server told her about our retail outlet in Burien and Cheryl “Googled” us on the spot. She bought the Italian ceramic salt and pepper dish as well as a Raffaellesco spoon rest, butter dish and utensil jar.
We always love hearing these stories and gaining new customers from all over the world. Cheryl has promised to visit PoggiBonsiGifts.com soon to add to her collection. Thanks, Cheryl!

FATHERS DAY CAR SHOW
Sunday, June 21, 2009 – 10 am to 4 pm
More than 200 cars are on display for this event which takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 152nd between 4th SW and 8th SW and on 6th SW between 152nd and 153rd.
Car clubs from around the Puget Sound area are invited to display their vehicles as are Burien’s new car dealers (who also help sponsor the event).
Live music is featured on a stage in the middle of the show, and a few food and car-related vendors are included.
The Father’s Day car show is sponsored by Discover Burien.
