Limoncello Lemon Drop

1 tbsp simple syrup (more if a sweeter drink is desired)**
1 package lemon drop candy
Place lemon drop candy in a freezer bag, remove air and seal. Pound candy on a hard surface with a hammer until candy becomes lemon drop “dust.”
Combine first four ingredients in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes; muddle lemons with a cocktail muddler and shake well. Swirl half a lemon around the rim of a martini glass and dip in lemon drop dust. Pour the contents of the cocktail shaker into the glass, and serve.
**Simple Syrup
In a medium saucepan combine 2 cup white sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
