Gifts with European Flavor

Our goal is to bring the charm and flavor of Europe to you with artisan products and gourmet kitchenware that you can enjoy yourself or give as gifts.

We have two stores in the Seattle, Washington area--Poggi Bonsi Cucina, our neighborhood kitchen store in the Olde Burien Shopping District and last November we opened new 2,800 square foot store at The Landing in Renton. Our stores are showcases for all of our European imports including Italian Ceramics, French Pottery, Olive Wood, and kitchen items as well as gourmet kitchenware and unique gifts. We frequently host in-store events to highlight new arrivals and celebrate the Mediterranean lifestyle.

Poggi Bonsi is a woman-owned business which began operation in 2001. We hand select our products and import a selection of them from France and Italy ourselves. We have traveled hundreds of miles in the European countryside seeking out suppliers who practice their centuries-old crafts.

Many of our Italian Ceramics are made near our namesake--the Tuscan town of "Poggibonsi." On our first trip to Tuscany, we got lost every day and kept running into signs for "Poggibonsi" — the name stuck with us because it is so fun to say. For more information about our name, please read our blog story, "Why Poggi Bonsi?"

Our Italian ceramics are hand-painted Majolica from Deruta in Umbria and Montelupo in Tuscany, we also import rustic ceramics from Abruzzo. Our French ceramics are hand made in the villages of Mougins and Vallauris near Cannes on the French Riviera. We offer a selection of fine European linens and fruit-themed kitchen towels from Italy and France. We feature hand-crafted European olive wood products such as bread boards, graters, and a variety of utensils from a family-run mill in Umbria. Our Italian glass items are from Murano (Venice) and Florence, Italy. We carefully choose seasonal items to incorporate into our gift packages and custom corporate gifts.

We look forward to bringing a little European flavor into your life!

Poggi Bonsi Gifts is a gourmet kitchen shop and a direct importer of Italian ceramics made in the centuries-old Majolica tradition. We personally select our Italian Ceramic collections from small family-owned pottery studios in Deruta, Abruzzo and Montelupo, Italy. We also import a wide selection of French Pottery which is hand made in the villages of Mougins and Vallauris near Cannes on the French Riviera. Our olive wood bowls, cheese boards, spoons and kitchen utensils are crafted by hand one at a time in a small village in Umbria, Italy. We also specialize in fine European linens including our Italian Linen Collection and Le Jacquard Francais kitchen towels imported from France, as well as French-designed linens by Couleur Nature. We proudly feature Italian glass wine stoppers, plates and Venetian glass jewelry items from the island of Murano and the surrounding area. We carefully choose home decor, kitchenware including Le Creuset, All Clad, Emil Henry, Rachel Ray, Fat Daddio's, NordicWare, Mario Batali and the revolutionary non-stick pans from Swiss Diamond. Our specialty foods and gifts compliment our mix of merchandise celebrating the Mediterranean lifestyle. Read more about us and our travel adventures on our Poggi Bonsi Blog.
